I did tour d Zwift stage 1, another hilly one for me. I got dropped from the lead pack and joined a couple of riders upto the base of the final climb. I was dying near the end, managed to sneak by a rider just in front. I crossed the line ahead, but somehow he was given the place infront.

Should I take my bat and ball home 😃

I did the very first TDZ race on Monday, in the 160-270 pen, a massive ~360 signups and ~316 crossed the finish line.

At least a handful of riders who had no business being allowed to race in pen D (especially when 270 limit), many thanks to ZRS flaws.

Just about kept with the lead group up Festival Harbor Climb, but left for dead very early on Pain Cavern Climb, which was always going to happen considering there were numerous riders capable of ~3.5W/Kg 5mins and I've done 3.2 once recently while quite fresh and having not been racing for ~35mins previous.

Still, given I rarely do 30min+ races these days and I'd not felt great for the previous ~14 days with some lurgy or other that left me knackered more than anything, I can't complain about finishing 25th.

The winner should be getting heck of a lot more than +4 ZRS points for that win against ~315 others and I was shocked to only get +2 for finishing in the top 10%!

Do like how Tim's site now shows racers not zwiftpower registered, even if simply "private player xyz."

I have done all 3 distances in the TDZ for this week, 1 yesterday 2 today, I manged 3.4 w/kg for all 3, but today I used the Specialized Project 74 as I am trying to upgrade it, yesterday I used fully upgraded Specialized SL8, the 74 was fine on the flat but was notably slower uphill, I am on the 1st weight upgrade for it I wonder if it will improve its climbing ability.

Yes vELO now stores power data and a vELO score for non-ZP riders -although they only get 4 power data points from the Zwift results API.
The names are anonymised for privacy reasons though as those on ZP have at least opted into some data sharing. But obvs you can see names in your Zwift results on the web or companion app.

The SL8 is a really good climber at level 5. Better than the unupgraded Aethos.
I'm working on the Aethos now, but only hit level 1 yesterday, so a long way to go (and it's all uphill 😭)

Iirc only a stage 5 Aethos is a better climber than a stage 5 SL8.

Yeah I think that's right.

Yes you are there in the list for 1 lap of Dolphin. Should take about 3 minutes. I will be aiming for ~320Watts
TT bike recommended as there is no draft.

Is it exactly one lay? My PB is 1:59. I know we won't have drafting but we'll be on TT bikes so I'm assuming not much longer than that?
