I'm a no show this week Alex I've got a family commitment
Shared the link with my team HTC to see if anyone fancies a recon

OK. No worries. Hoping someone in my team might join. I've ridden it before, but want to refamiliarise before next week.

Did all eight of the Climb Portal Spring Classics this afternoon, although across two separate sessions. Cipressa, Poggio, Oude Kwaremont, Koppenburg, Paterberg, Cauberg, Mur de Huy & Côte de La Redoute.

Some of the shorter ones like Koppenburg were somewhat ridiculous with it just being a straight line up at about 14% with a portal gate every 30 seconds - if you were lucky enough to get a feather and trigger it straight away it lasts longer than it takes to reach the next gate! I think I probably spent more time riding the lead-in through France than I did on the climb.

I ride IRL this morning with a fella whom I rode ZRL against way back in 2021 (back in the days of Cyclechat #86). He beat me for the win in the epic season-closing Surrey Hills race.

Anyway, at 70 miles it was one of my longest rides since Strava. I probably wouldn’t have blown up and got dropped at the end if I hadn’t been knackered from shovelling and barrowing mulch yesterday afternoon, ridden 10 miles to the rendezvous and if there hadn’t been 15 miles of vigorous thru-and-off in the middle of the ride!

Did Stage 6b of the Zwift Games yesterday. It was an 11km ITT. I don't normally do/like TT's but thought I'd give it a go so I can complete the set of all stages (one to go).

Quite a big negative split which suggests I could have gone faster but pretty pleased with it. Finished in 16:40 but carried on to 20 minutes to set my best 20 of this (and last) year.

Just the Crit Cade Stage 6b to go.

I did stage 6b myself this morning, the first TT I have done on Zwift, it was about 1980 when I last did a TT IRL, I never enjoyed them so maybe that's why I have avoided them in Zwift, I was in the 510 to 650 zrs group and somehow A cat, I thought this would be hard work but if I do the best I can it doesn't matter if I come in last as my zrs may decrease to more realistic level.
The guy I set off with was doing just over 4wkg so I thought I will try and stay with him as long as possible, but I was quicker up the little kickers, I eventually left him and carried on at my own pace, I ended up 1st with an increase in zrs of 352, its now 951 ! My ftp increased by circa 100w ! But according to Zwift power I went from an A to a B cat !
The guy I set off with came second.

Yeah something's definitely up with those figures - that would be pro level power and WAY higher than anything you've ever done before. I assume that huge jump in ZRS is because of a massive increase in your seed score. It's crazy that it still categorises you as Cat B based on that and just goes to show that Zwift Cat system is as flawed as ZRS!

Edit: I wrote that before seeing your reply above acknowledging you'll have to check your bike
