I'll be on a race about 7 too tomorrow and also go for cat C.

It's 8, as there is some down hill i should be ok if i can get in a good group I'm praying the start is not crazy.

It will be 700W off the start line and 50W up the first hill

having not done so many races as you lot - what do you suggest i do ? if i can keep up with you lot then the wtts will be too high for c - even if i come nowhere ( if you havent noticed - i am a skinny mini !) if i was to join b would i set off the same time as you ? or should i just go for c and get bumped if i do go over ?

Lee it's a race, ignore the ZP result, just take the place you come before adjudication. I expect you to do very well tomorrow, should suit you

C normally goes off earlier than B. If you go B you'll catch most of the C's by the end if you stay with the lead B riders.

The couple of races I've done it's balls out off the line, max power for about 1 minute, then you should be in the lead group. It will then settle down to normal watts and you should be able to sit in the group and enjoy the ride

Instant vs 3s Power is merely an optional display feature. It has nothing to do with how an avatar responds. The key is to constantly watch the leaderboard for signs of an attack as that displays real time w/kg; so if anyone puts the hammer down you will notice it there before their avatar responds.

I changed my settings this evening to instant power and I found it a lot easier to stay in a group and is felt a lot more responsive. May of been a fluke, will try it again tomorrow.

Cat C! We are all borderline B at least so in there we should go. In fact you are all faster than me! And as for Lee
Andy, it’s such a flat course you will be fine in B. If it was Watopia hilly I might suggest C.

Those that don't feel the draft try sitting off the back of group by 6m and compare your effort. Trust me if you're sitting in the group you are getting the draft benefit. That's why you can't compare speed between races because a larger group will travel faster.
