Bollux.
Back too painful to continue.
2nd up kom, average 262 over 20min and enjoying being at front. Frerria or whatever his name is, guy who Jeff talks about was complaining about our insane pace as Lee, Rob and little old me pushed it on. Caught tail end B’s Who had a 1m 30 start. But bailed. Double bollux.

I always forget how hard racing is:heat:

I saw Dean rapidly closing in on me up the last climb, I dug in and hoped I could get to the descent before he closed the gap. My nearby riders were burnt out for the sprint, so I took a little minor victory:biggrin:

Off to check where Lee finished, he was in his element near the front. I felt a little deflated when a number of A riders flew by, but then cheered up when we picked off quite a few B and lapped a number a D cat riders.

I logged in and watched a few of you. Not as easy as Bkool to spectate which is a shame but you can kind of watch. @berty bassett has been told off for riding C when he's B  Had you started at B Lee you would probably have ridden with @bridgy as your finish times in the end were very close.

Didn't see @CXRAndy or @rob01792 on the course  @Breedon and @JLaw seemed to be working together.

Well done chaps :okay:

That was mostly fun! I got into a nice group of 5 for most of the race. 3.5kms to go and I was feeling good and planning my sprint finish and boom - cramp in my calf . It was the Bkool Nations Cup all over again! I limped on, free - wheeled down the hill, and then dropped my chain!

So not a great finish but good all the same!

Well done all - I will go and check results. Sorry you couldn't finish Bob - hope the back's ok soon

I saw you stop and wondered what happened. You was fast approaching Jeff when you popped. When you started up again though you hit 600 watts  If Lee behaves himself next time you two will do really well together and better place.

Blimey, you would have been way up the standings if you hadn’t cramped. Great ride .
I was sooo looking forward to this tonight so a bit pi@@ed after a solid start to the race but will get over it. Great to see cc riders in a shared kit at the front. Here’s to the next one^_^

Shame Bob and Paul. I must admit I limped off the bike with hamstring strain after I accidentally dropped into the inner ring whilst standing up to push over a crest. A little stretch has eased it.

on the whole i really enjoyed that ! i made a few silly mistakes and i think i made 1 error right near the end that might have cost me a place but it was fun ! it was a good idea to have same shirts on
not very good at seeing who is who or what they are doing but think it was Rob and Bob passing me downhill and i was clawing back on the ups
hope Bobs back aint too bad and gets better soon
the osteopath popped mine tonight and not rubbing it in but it feels better than it has done for ages

Not really Bob - at best I could have been 4 or 5 places higher if I had won the sprint out of my group - it's quite possible I would have ended up in the same position!

Cheek! I think if you check the times you will find I was pulling away from you on the climbs;)
Apart from that great ride.
Glad your back is sorted. I reckon you are just about over your accident. Huge difference between this and our last race:okay:
