Post of the day
Never expected to see you sir !!
Isn’t it Tuesday evenings you do you legs![]()
Now all you have to do is find a race that only lasts 20 minutes![]()
Could be worth you doing a Zwift run on your Pro @TurboTommy on say the Watopia flat course, or London flat and then doing the same on the Atom to see any differences. Anything that has less maintenance has got to be good for me so if I did replace my Pro it would unlikely to be with the Neo but I could be tempted with the Atom
( goes off looking...)
I spent far too long on Strava last night looking at the course and comparing different segments and mine, Lee’s and bridgy’s timesas well as everyone else’s of course. As a group , that is cyclechat, we are remarkably closely packed, some faster on flats, others in hills but the variance is within limits that suggest we could have a cracking winter of racing -especially when you get you Atom. Though I await the excuses when you do

But would the early splitters be happy with us all coming across with our Pros and kicking butt?!? Isn't that why the splitters split in the first place?I agree mate, well with most of it.... we seem to be at a tipping point now with the majority jumping across. It would be great if everyone made the transition from bkool this winter.
The way to go would be something like the Volcano CCW. Laps only take ~5 minutes. You could do several laps for comparison purposes.Could be worth you doing a Zwift run on your Pro @TurboTommy on say the Watopia flat course, or London flat and then doing the same on the Atom to see any differences. Of course the thing about BKool is you could see what trainer each rider was on, but with Zwift you can't. You can see if they have a dumb trainer, a smart trainer (which I assume includes the Pro, Neo, Kickr etc?) or a Power meter but not which one so if someone beats you/me/whoever we won't really know which trainer they have used. Unless there is a way to see what they ride... but I couldn't find out howGiven the reliability of the Bkool, it's only a matter of time![]()

I agree with you Andy, but I would go a bit further and say it really doesn't matter to me at all whatever is going on with other riders and whether they are cheating or not, as long as I enjoy the race and get a good workout. On Bkool, there were so few riders per race, you got know their capabilities. Then every so often someone would perform out of their skin, hell I even won a race! I dont get performance boost with Zwift-actually its the opposite sometimesOn Zwift there are so many competitors that it doesn't really matter if the odd rider is fiddling their weight or using a unfair turbo. They will be caught out by the admins which are very keen. With the numbers, 30-50 per category, it then becomes all about the race directly in front of you. If the cheaters are up the road, doesn't matter, there will be a bunch of others nearby which you can always race with.
I doubt Hodges will be able to help. I think ZP merely pull the events from Zwift. I would assume you need to ask for an event with zwift HQ. I've also not known an invitation only event if you want to restrict entry. You could arrange a meet-up on a different course using a hack so you race around Richmond for example amongst yourselves.Apparently if we want to set up our own races on Zwift (could be closed and just for chatters, or open to all) then James Hodges at ZwiftPower is the man to advise us. I'm off to bed in a bit but will ping him a note tomorrow to see what we need to do.
