Silly billy today, supposed to be having a recovery ride, so I did the 3 sisters Some chap called Boasson Hagen was on Zwift, I got into a pacing race up the Pretzel with a Danish chap, then on the way down some fella named Steve Cummings appeared, I stopped pedalling for him to catch me up, but despite him making 15W/Kg over the bumps he couldn't catch me, lightweight

Finally I raced down the volcano loop with two chaps sprinting up to 6-7W/Kg repeatedly

I'm tired now

I did get an OK time for the Tri-sisters, first attempt

I was on there with Edvald a few weeks ago. I got on his wheel and lasted all of 1 second before he flew off down the road. @bobinski may bemoan the exaggerated pro cyclist watts that the Pro shows, but it certainly doesn't translate to pro cyclist speeds!

Edit : just wanted to add I got on his wheel as I joined Zwift and it asked me if I wanted to ride with him. The answer next time is "No" ha ha. Been on there with Cummings too, but all I saw of him was the dust as he bombed past

Zwift holds you there whatever your watts for a while giving you time to spin up. You should have spun faster

I was spinning like I'd stole it Couldn't get anywhere near him. So funny watching others trying the same and all failing

It's £695 at Halfords currently - less 10% discount if you're a British Cycling member so £625.50 after discount. (Cheapest membership is £22 so still only £647.50 if you have to buy membership to get the discount)

I like that I’ve just checked with wiggle and I’m a gold member so get some discount but Halfords sounds good, what’s there customer service like I.e returns policy.

Not sure what they're like to deal with for returns really.

Just spotted another deal at Tredz - it's priced at £749.99 but their Black Friday deal is £125 off a spend of £750 or more, so just add something cheap you need to tip it over £750 and get it for £625.

If you want to buy from Wiggle they do have a price match promise and so should match Sigma Sport's price of £674.

(If I carry on like this I'll be persuading myself to buy one!!)
