Andy,my excuse is it’s Just not the right time. To be added to the book of excuses are Work stress playing with sleep patterns and Mrs B having (man) flu means a lot less sleep than I am used to, so just too tired to give it the full beans. It is on my radar. I won’t be able to match your time on the flat, may make some inroads up hill but need to keep you at bay in the downs.
Hope it does turn into good news TomA new book in the shops just in time for Christmas Bob!
Just messing... To be honest I’m considering going to a publisher myself at the moment. I’ve had a bit of a health scare. I won’t bore you all with the details but the last couple of weeks haven’t been great. I’m hopeful I’m going to ge some good news next week. I’ve taken on a boat load of work too. Well whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right?...
With regards FTP tests I was on zwift last night just trying to navigate the app as I’m still not that familiar with it (and I was bored). I noticed it says my FTP is 266 watts, although I haven’t done a test. I’m assuming it’s taken from when I’ve just been free wheeling around? So there should be room for improvement there hopefully if that’s the case. Which is good because I’ve set myself some completely unrealistic targets for the next few months.
I’m going on zwift later if anyone fancies a relatively slow pootle. I don’t think I’m quite ready for your challenge just yet but it sounds like a good laugh (with a nice dollop of pain on top!)
Don't forget Cyclechat' challenge to do a solo reverse mountain loop.
