I booked to do the ToW Stg 1 today @5pm but hit a snag. I was late starting my workout and had to dump the ToW Stg to finish it, can't do both in Zwift.

I'm going to jump onto the 5pm repeat tomorrow and slug slow my way round as a recovery ride from the workouts I've done this week.

I think my time tonight was 41:47 if we are going from Zwift power?

Short cool down , quick shower, SIS Rego and check Zwift Power, got 40:52 . Happy with that, took your advise @bridgy and went for a fast start on the flat and the hill , could tell 170 bpm and above wasn’t possible today so tried to hover on or below 170 bpm. Well done to everyone today , especially @Whorty crazy antics :bicycle::bicycle::bicycle:.

I think he's been buried in the volcano.

Memorial service at 11.00 tomorrow!

He’s going for a 9 out of 10 from Tommy:okay:

So I had my tea too close to the ride. Had to hold off the final run in or I’d be sick. I become isolated with an Aussie chap. We were happy as we were on for a top 200. Then in the final 1000m a huge swarm came past & broke our hearts. Pleased with the overall power though.
Ride on! Bring Stage 2 on!

I have to say all CycleChat riders are showed good effort in ToW stage-1 and @Whorty ride like duracell bunny, nothing seems to exhaust him.
Oh, I'm exhausted all right! Can hardly walk at the moment! :B)

It was so hard on the first attempt holding back when I wanted to push on. So pleased I finished all 3 rides; in total over 100km tonight. Must have sweat buckets because even after downing a pint of water I still weighed 77.6kg

And to think I gave you a generous 3/10! ^_^

Well done mate. Not too shabby at all for someone under the weather! Dread to think how fast you’ll be at 100% :surrender:.
What’s your Zwift name? so I can curse you as you go past me!

That wasn’t a bad as I was expecting. I thought the climbs would be longer than they turned out to be. In the end it was more punchy than painful if that makes sense. Thought I had your time in my sights @bridgy but alas it wasn’t to be.

Well that was a bit annoying to say the least! Did a faster time than Tuesday (based on the strava segments) but when I went over the finish line instead of stopping at zero and registering me as having finished, the distance to go countdown started going back up! I saved the ride anyway but then had to manually upload the fit file to strava - and it hasn't registered on zwiftpower so I don't have an official time

I reserve the right to bitterly refer back to this situation and what might have been if anyone ends up beating me by 30 seconds or so in the league :headshake:
