Well I've busted my you know what on my first event on Zwift.

Stage 1 of the ToW is complete. 73m58s and I am fecked. 702nd out of 799 the last time I checked. Hey not the strongest person in the event this time.

Had a hard week this week, what with week 1 of my Gran Fondo workout plan and the ToW starting. Day off tomorrow at least and then see how Sunday goes. Maybe a short jaunt ITRW, if no rain or a ride on BRVR to keep the legs loose.

Off for a curry and a beer :mrpig: :popcorn: :angel: :whistle:
Well done TB on completing your diarist Zwift race :okay:.

That’s a hefty workload, doing a weekly TdZ stage on top of the training plan. Remember you get stronger during the rest days! :cycle:

Don’t feel you have to keep the B’s end up... I was perfectly happy when you were propping up the C’s! ^_^

I think there’s a few there masquerading as C’s. Might have to bump them up ;)

On other matters - you will recall I've been muttering about glute recruitment and how I thought this had improved my power output etc - I sent a question to TrainerRoad last week and it got answered on this weeks Ask a Cycling Coach Podcast - Number 201. If anyone is interested, it starts just after 1hr 23 mins.

I think there’s a few there masquerading as C’s. Might have to bump them up ;)

Meh there’s no hiding behind categories anyway. I only see one big league table!

Is there something you’re not doing you were doing st your strongest. Maybe go on the ‘see food’ diet!

Just not as strong Tommy, I seem to be better with endurance and lack outright power. Ive got minor niggles which preclude me from long rides-ignoring Tenerife (drug and medical assisted to survive the rides) Also lost a lot of interest in riding flat out. Im contemplating missing both DD and TOC if my issues don't clear up in time. So much else going on in life too-drains enthusiasm

Just had another go at stage 1 but eased at end once I realised wouldn’t beat my earlier time. Slower to jungle then a bit quicker but overall me and those I was drafting not fast enough.
