I used to live in York - lovely place. Not too many hills though!
Indeed ;-)

On that note. Just signed up for another flat Zwift race on Saturday. I've checked out some articles about best frames/wheels for flat/rolling races but they're all outside my level range.

Anything I can buy with my 200k drops at level 7 that could help me a bit with this one? I'm still completely 'stock'.

[EDIT]:

Looks like I can afford the DT Swiss ARC 62 wheels that unlocked at lvl6. Is that a good idea?

Thank you! Should improve my Internet search skills  I can see the DT 62's listed there so I'll go ahead and get these. Every little helps ;)

I don’t know how much time you can commit to the turbo Peter but I’d personally recommend doing the alp once or twice a week if you have time. It has the dual benefit of getting you the Tron bike and also it’ll give your fitness a big boost.

203 miles?!

You should see what is at the feed stations - pizzas, BBQ etc

To be fair, I'm quite good with time. If I could, I would ride every day - it's just that my body doesn't let me... Yet?

Did 130k/5h last week. This week I did 63k/2h on Tuesday and still feel sore.

I could ride from my house in Eastleigh/Southampton to the most hipsterish of hipster sourdough pizza restaurants in London then ride back and clock up less than 203 miles!

Come to think of it they probably deliver

I don't know if anyone would be interested in this kind of thing, but I've signed up at intervals.icu and it's a complete mindfark of statistics on power and training metrics. Just sign up (free) and link to your Strava account.

It's like ZwiftPower on steroids...

I've been using it for about a year. I use the fitness page the most.

The estimated FTP is really good. Same algorithm as Zwift use but its got more than just Zwift rides in it so gives a broader picture.

I don't subscribe to Strava or Cycling Analytics now and just use intervals.
