Glad everyone kept it at a sustainable pace for the first 15 miles or so. It was inevitable that someone would hit the gas on the back half of the 2nd lap and drop me, but I was still glad to have joined and gotten a good tow around. Wednesdays are generally terrible for me, so I doubt you'll see me for the remaining stages. But good to see so many of you again after a while away.

I was placed first at the start (i.e. I started in front of everyone) and looking at video it had me a second behind the bunch whenever I was in it. That's disappointing if that is a bit of an issue with the meet up feature.
I defo don't think there was a second between us but that doesn't mean I won, I know zwift can show different things, and @Whorty timed his sprint perfectly.
Regardless on the hilly stage I'll bleed minutes so it doesn't really matter 🤣

Yeah same. I don’t have a dog in the fight so obv doesn’t really matter to me who won! I just have a feeling it’s a quirk from the start. As you can see on aleman video, even though you can’t see the finish line, you were ahead throughout the final phase of the sprint and stayed ahead.
Its more annoying in the bigger picture of things rather than anything else.

Who kept pinging of the front, put me into red plus plus?
Though I blew up I have positives, I didn't need the peel myself off the bike and my Watts are 20+ higher for the hour. After 1 week thats feels nice.

Yeah, it's the reason why you can't have bonus seconds across the line (which would otherwise be a really good idea on a stage like that) because no-one knows whose line is in front or behind their own.

I'd agree ... moral victory to @mjd1988 as it felt like half a bike to Michael too .... probably a quirk of the spawning positions.
