Anything else trying to pair to the Apple TV? Speaker, headphones etc?
I'm fairly certain there isn't anything else paired to the ATV.

Anyone seen this issue before? Lost pairing with all devices (turbo, HRM) every 8 minutes or so. I had to go back to the pairing screen each time to get connected again. Looking at my strava it seemed to happen at regular time intervals. Hopefully this is just a one off! [Apple TV and Tacx Neo2]

Looks like dodgy tactics to me… I recommend a 1 minute deduction from your GC times…

Regular dropout would point to some device trying to connect periodically. This could cause the apple thingy to drop established connections. Arent the devices connected all by bluetooth with apple?

Ant+ is my suggestion :okay:

Very odd, hopefully a one off. If not do you have a laptop that you could test if its an Apple TV issue? There was a recent zwift update as well wasn't there

Oh yeah, that was another thing that nearly made me miss the start on Wednesday: the bloody Windows Zwift update!

That was my candidate for why the app crashed completely.

On the Bluetooth dropping out: Were you using wireless headphones? Any new devices nearby that could cause interference? RC toys, new WiFi routers?

If you can't think of anything then it's probably the update. In the future, if you have time, restart the hardware after an update just to be on the safe side. I know I will after Wednesday

One of the road captains in the AHDR squad has challenged us with 5s power targets to hit before Christmas. He went a bit low with my initial target of 1000w - I cranked out 1124 this morning - but he’s now upped it to 1200w. The most I’ve even momentarily peaked at is 1178w, so I’d be ecstatic to get the 1200w badge… I think that to hold it for 5s would entail completely rebuilding my puny physique!

Panic stations over! I got in a 40 minute session this evening with no drop outs. I gave the Apple TV and Neo2 a power off cycle and uninstalled and reinstalled Zwift. I was using Bluetooth headphones the other evening but I do that usually without issues. Oh and I got a 4w FTP increase doing a TT race 👍😅 Im off to post about the FTP rise Zwift riders. 😂
