If it's any consolation I'm only 8th ranked in my country - Saint Pierre and Miquelon. I quite liked the flag so I defected from Somalia a month ago where I was no.1. Now I'm just a small fish in a slightly bigger pond. 😂

I think we both know the answer to that! 😄

It’s not like I’ve ever thought about it in a race. All I’m saying is my power in races is me going full tilt. When we raced up zwift alp a couple of years back that was the best shape I’ve ever been in I reckon. And back then I only slipped up a cat by doing the crit races. So I’d be really surprised if it happened now in anything over a 30 minute race.

Gained unfortunately, was at 82kg and just tipped the scales at 87kg! Heaviest I've been in about 5 years, but I've gone from 100km/week commuting & 80km weekend club rides to a couple of zwift sessions a week.

Weekend boozing seems to be creeping up on me aswell, tough time of year to cut back but I'll have to make an effort.

Going to weight myself just before the race and update to whatever that is, so it'll be salads for the next few meals! :laugh:

I think it’s sugar that does it for me. It’s my nemeses. So I try cutting it out completely. But I wouldn’t want to stop drinking alcohol. So now I sacrifice all other sugary things and keep drinking.

Can you get back on the bike commute?
