How’s your arm - mine felt like it had been run over
Feels like the wife punched it last night. Not too bad but it aches a bit when I lift it up (so trying not to lift it up!).

@steverob How you feeling after your Moderna today? I'm whacked. Feel tired and like I've got a bad cold coming!!
Sore arm (and even that's not particularly bad - had much worse), but otherwise that's about it. I do feel very sleepy, but that's the same pretty much every morning! I'd say last night's ride took more out of me than the jab. How’s your arm - mine felt like it had been run over
Sounds like you got away lightly - ain’t it strange how it effects people in different waysSore arm (and even that's not particularly bad - had much worse), but otherwise that's about it. Hill Climb series on Friday night at 18:45 ( I'll still be cycling home from work 🙄 )...
But looks interesting, you ride the whole route but only your time on the designated KOM counts for your time.
Tomorrow is Leith Hill.
I guess the same one as last season, was it Burninglegs?Who is B team captain for the next WTRL league season?
I was thinking the flatter courses, we could have quite an impressive sprint team line-up .. although the climbing stages we'd be a bit buggeredI guess the same one as last season, was it Burninglegs?
I might be able to Bring back 'nic fug' and another friend. Are we going back to two teams?
On the TT topic, were raw watts important yesterday? Think I had some w/kg more than some opponents on the results screen but ended with a worse time.
On the flat, rider height and raw watts is more significant than w/kg. On climbs, w/kg is king.On the TT topic, were raw watts important yesterday? Think I had some w/kg more than some opponents on the results screen but ended with a worse time.
It varied. Lee beat me by just over a minute with lower watts but higher w/kg. I also beat Michael by just under a minute with (slightly) lower watts than him but higher w/kg. On the other hand, I beat Tim by 34 seconds with higher watts but lower w/kg 🤷♂️On the TT topic, were raw watts important yesterday? The first 13km were pretty much flat, and for that section I did 291 watts (3.73w/kg), and Lee did 290 watts (4.53w/kg) and he was 44 seconds ahead. So I wonder if this was simply an advantage of 5cm height difference? On the flat, rider height and raw watts is more significant than w/kg. On climbs, w/kg is king.
Bike and wheel choice ? 🤷♂️ I did ask if we should all have the basic set up as it makes a differenceThe first 13km were pretty much flat, and for that section I did 291 watts (3.73w/kg), and Lee did 290 watts (4.53w/kg) and he was 44 seconds ahead.
