You light weight youngsters should be at the front pulling, and leave us old timers ride steady in the chasing groups.
Just had a look at the results:

Carl, 5th, 52:45
Alan, 26th, 52:53
John, 48th, 56:52
Peter, 50th, 56:52
Steen, 54th, 57:54
Andy, 57th, 58:14
Marino, 58th, 1:00:24

Apologies if I missed someone. Top 6 in each team count, I think :okay:

From Carl's comments, he's secured 2nd individual place:cheers:
Yes, looks that way. I finished ahead of the lead DZR rider and Al finished ahead of their 2nd rider, and we had 6 finishers, so hopefully we should hold on to team 2nd place too

Was great seeing so many CCers on the race tonight .... always nice have team mates around you when you're on your last legs :B)

26th - pleased enough with that (considering Zwift had me in 50th place - dirty sandbagging XXXXs!
Did I say I got my Covid booster at lunchtime today, and I was supposed to be on a rest day, blah blah blah 😷

Well done team. That was as tough a race I’ve done in a long time. That climb up to l’AduT seemed to come round all too quickly and the rest too short.

Great result Carl - are those results on ZP now the final stand8ngs? If so you just pipped your American pal to 2nd overall. If you’d been a place or 2 back in todays sprint you’d have lost the 2nd place so great battling.

I think a race - it's just a bit of fun and races are more fun (FACT).

So, on that note - apologies but I haven't had a chance to read through the last few pages - shall I set up a meetup for Wednesday evening? Still at 19.45 or would most people be able to do a bit earlier? Happy to stick with Wednesday 19.45 if it still suits most
Unfortunately I can’t do Wednesday this week; it’s the night me and the wife are rushing around town dropping off Christmas presents to friends and family. Though we’ve already had one cancellation due to a positive Covid test, so it may be that it’ll take a lot less time than originally planned.

I clocked his jersey and bike so I knew who to follow the final sprint as I came around the corner He was just ahead of me so i put some power down and snuck past him then held on to the line. I didn't have much left in the tank at the end, pretty rubbish sprint, but thankfully just enough :okay:

Was great seeing you in the pack with me  That was really hard though ... no massive efforts, just constant and relentless without any rest.

Up early after crawling off the bed early. HR just about at resting levels.

Checked ZP for results

Carl secured 2nd place extending his points by a few over his chasing American:okay:.

Team Cyclechat solidified 2nd with a full compliment of riders for finale around the Champ's Elysée course.

Steen recorded the event, you can see a few of us at the start, possibly late on as we all came back together

I spotted myself at the start laying 600W at the start and going backwards from the lead pack:ohmy:. Wasnt able to to quite sustain that .

The individual C cat winner is easily a B cat contender, his average HR 50bpm below peak. Literally cruising in zone 1 then dropping 1140W sprint to win

Merry Christmas everyone. 🎄🎅🦃🍮🍷🍾
