Does anyone fancy racing tonight anyway? Can't remember what race was looked at but struggling to find any mass start Races...except a couple of group rides around 7 but would that be very poor form to hijack?
I'm going to see if I can make it to the AHDR ride at 7pm, which is a really good event. It's a 2.3-2.8 w/kg group ride until the 'Pony lap', which is an all-out charge if you want it to be.
You get to unlock the AHDR Euro strip as well, which is mint. :becool:

I probably will ride later, but not sure what time yet. May just do a workout, or latch on to the C pace bot .. depends how I feel at 6 o'clock when i log off

Hi guys
It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here but I recently returned to Zwift and raced the Dbr on Monday.
I forgot how f***n hard the starts are and got to say I was not impressed with the drafting.
I was either getting catapulted to the front in the group or suddenly being sucked out to the back. I can’t remember if it was this bad the last time I rode in a race but I thought someone had said they improved it.
I guess I need to do more races again but why put yourself through so much pain when u can do Zone 2 😀 Tommy 😉.

If you wanted to just have a spin tonight I’m free tomorrow to race

Im quivering like a newbie from weightlifting. Not done any workouts for a couple of weeks. Now, cant walk or hold a cup of tea 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

Have you ever been lifting something really heavy when your arms suddenly start to tremble? Or when you’re at the gym, finishing your last set of leg presses, have your legs ever begun to quiver? Some people even consider this trembling as a sign of whether you’ve pushed your muscles to their maximum capacity. The question is, why does this trembling occur and is it normal? Or is it something to be worried about?

The simple answer for why this reaction by the body occurs is muscle fatigue.

I still haven't found a clear riding technique that eliminates this. I dont know if Zwift just cant get the Algo.. spot on for bigger riders. I need a big pack to be able to back off and reapply power and stay within the group
I find that once the pack settles then I can sit in the draft easily at about 190-200 watts on the flat, which is about 2.8 w/kg for me. Ups obviously have to push more, and downs I need to keep the legs turning to stay with the heavier guys both nothing too hard.

It's the starts that are bonkers !! But even here I don't need to go about 350 watts I don't think, and only around that number for the first 30-60 seconds until the blob forms.

But then I'm a short@rse so maybe that helps when I sit behind the larger riders?
