In the days of my youth I struggled with a few Christmas dinners... 🤢
Rach's birthday was the 27th (also the day she died, so I'm looking forward to Monday!!) - that quiet period between christmas and new year when no one wants to go out anywhere. Which is why one year I flew her out to New York for her birthday and new year, and treated her to Jimmy Choo shoes .... tried to give her her very own episode of Sex in the City!

I'm all good ... had loads of invites to friends over the period but choosing to stay here on my own. Not into the festive spirit or celebrating, just content to treat it like a normal day as that will be easier. I'm heading up to Solihull on the 27th to visit Rach's tree then spending the evening with her bestie raising a glass and talking general cr@pThat's a shame Carl😠

Same here - every year we go to the in-laws on Christmas Day - I usually retreat to a quiet room around 4pm to give me head some peace, watch crap on tv or surf the web.

Guys I just want to wish everyone here the best possible Christmas they can have whatever that might entail!
I come to this page to share some great laughs, to help push and motivate myself, hopefully motivate others a little too. Highs and lows, lots of different opinion and outlook on life, all brought together through a common passion.
But really this page is more than just a sub forum isn’t it? Honestly everyone here contributes in such a way that it has become far bigger than the sum of its parts in my humble opinion. So I just want to say thank you to you all for enriching my time here.

Yep, cheers guys. It is great to have somewhere to brag when we do well, create world class excuses when we are rubbish, share thoughts, ideas and progress - and just shoot the sh#t.
Would be great if we can get a few IRL meetups in 2022 👍
