Now THAT is a day on the bike

Now THAT is a day on the bike
I'm planning to sign up for a Training week or 10 days in Calpe which my coach is a part organiser of. I'll ask whether it is open to all, or restricted. I'd not heard of Calpe but when I had a look, it is a very popular area for cyclists and used by a lot of pro teams.
I suspect others on here will also have plans/options as well.
I've cycled in the Calpe region, Mallorca , Tenerife and Gran Canaria. As the others have said Mallorca offers all the options of pan flat days or epic climbs. Calpe was great - I stayed in Callosa d'en Saria with a company called CHS and Nozad the host was great and I'd imagine would be possible to book a one person room and join in with other cyclists he has staying - it's a villa for up to 10 people. I went there in late February and must admit we got a cold week with a few flurries of snow in the hills.Looks nice down there
I'd probably choose to hire a bike too, so may see if I can find a company that organises rides and bike hire. Just never done anything like this before so not sure where to start
When you get old like us, you'll get to go on some trips too ...Words cannot describe just how jealous I am about these trips - even without ever seeing that police woman! Amazing!
Carl, Alberto and Marcos are good mates of mine. The tours they do are excellent. For you I'd suggest the Volcano tour. Very much up your street in capabilities. Meet lots of new riders. Socialize in the evening over dinner. The Paradise hotel is the usual hotel.Been searching on 'tinternet, and found this : https://tenerifebiketraining.com/tours/tenerife-cycling-tour/
Some companies have nothing for this winter/spring as I guess covid is still playing havoc with their businesses. Need to check with work when back on possible dates, but end Feb/early March is target if brave enough to go on my own.
By that time we'll have flying cars and all my joints will be made of titaniumWhen you get old like us, you'll get to go on some trips too ...
We only go for the warm weather on our old joints![]()
Hi RandyI've wanted to go there just to break curfew after @CXRAndy posted the picture of the policewoman last year.
Booked the family in for the “big bike bash” over the August bank holiday weekend.
Three nights of camping with a beer festival and live music, and three days of silly/fun biking events - lake diving, balance bike racing, longest wheelie/track stand, hill climb with kids shooting water pistols at you etc.
Apparently really good family fun according to someone we know who went last year, and run for charity 👍
