@Peter Salt , bike looks great, though you’ll probably appreciate a level saddle position in the long run.

I found that I’d broken one of my pedals when I inspected the bike this morning. I couldn’t find the snapped-off bit so I suspect it was longstanding damage and was ‘cause’ rather than ‘effect’ of my incident. I’m swapping some PP137s across from my neglected TT bike.

Maybe your leg power vapourised the broken bit?

Lads, I see the Tour du Zwift starts today. What’s the thoughts on running a Cyclechat league using it? There’s 8 stages through until Feb 13 with varying distances - the longer distances running over the weekends, and multiple opportunities to ride each stage. I’d be happy to compile a league table if there’s enough interest.
Happy to join, but can't guarantee I'll join all races as I'm trying to get ready for my Tenerife trip

I’m up for that. I completed the “A” ride this evening. Almost killed me 🤣

Unfortunately it won't fit in with my training plan (yes, I know I sound like a right prick ) so I wouldn't be able to take part. Managed to get ZRL shoehorned in but won't manage another racing event

I'd be interested in this idea. I would like (and should be able to) complete all the stages. Aiming for the longest distance each stage.

I don’t think I’ll be able to do all the stages but I’m definitely up for doing some of them. Especially if we can do some as a group

Good stuff - sounds like we have enough interest in the Tour de Zwift. if people can post their results on here I'll pick them up and put them in a spreadsheet.

Great stuff - thanks Al.

The good thing about these is we can do the rides whenever suits us - and they tend to have catch up days as well if you do miss any. Having said that I think it would be good if people post when they plan to do them and we can try and do them with others whenever possible. I might try fitting the stages in on a Thursday evening where possible
