Is it wrong of me to have read this - https://zwiftinsider.com/race-quality/ - and thought "aha, a way to find the least competitive races"?!

I saw another league the other day that has kind of gone in the opposite direction, with the categories split in half again. I can’t remember what it was called now…

Edit:

Did we ever consider it? Maybe it’s not suited to us with a relatively wide spread of ability and a relatively small group… I always like the idea of GC leagues though.

Looks interesting. Especially as my w/kg puts me right at the top of Cat B :okay:. The series mentioned in that link finished on 31st Jan so I don't know if they have a new series coming up? Can't see mention of it on their website.

I think most of us are finishing off the TDZ competition which ends next Sunday - after that it would definitley be good to identify another series of races to get involved in as well as the ZRL.

We do now have the Club function of course so we could potentially organise another "Tour de Splitters" if we don't find another organised series that suits enough of us

Apparently there’s been 10 or so seasons already so I assume there’ll be another. Although I think the stumbling blocks are it’s the day before ZRL, and as much I like the look of tougher racing it makes it harder to put a team out.

Yeah Mondays not ideal during ZRL. But once ZRL is finished (last stage is 1st March unless you go into the playoffs) it could definitely be one to consider

Just done it. It's "rather climby"

I managed 01:40:57 (paging @IrishAl ) having taken a look at my power curve and set a target of 180W average, I managed to come in at 183W which is 4W better than previous best from 01:20:00 to 01:40:00

So I reckon most of you should be able to beat 01:40 (if you like climbing ^_^).

i think my basic turbo trainer is wearing out?
got it second hand looked like it had never been used, still boxed and works fine but lately the resistance is hit and miss,
Today i was cruising at 4 w/kg at less than 130 bpm at the recommended setting giving me about 25 mph on the flat!, now on the road pre crash i could hold maybe 21 -22 ?
