Great statement from Eric, he seems to have his head switched on here.
@bobinski - perhaps you are right about offering my services, we are singing from the same hymn sheet and he is going down the policy route by setting up bug bounty program... which is is my bread and butter
"It is important for us to uphold our terms of service as they exist to protect the enjoyment of the majority of Zwifters ... we plan to introduce a bug bounty program that will not only make it easier for Zwifters to highlight issues but will also reward them for doing so. We will need time to develop this program but will share information in due course."
I completely agree with him - banning Luciano was right, lifting the ban was right, and banning anyone who does the same thing in the future will continue to be right. The good intentions of Luciano and others like him should be directed into the bug bounty program. A painful way to learn that lesson, but glad it has happened to be honest.
Eric - if you're reading this, make the CISO accountable for the bug bounty program, make it wide ranging to include in game issues such as cheats, but also other areas like infrastructure, integrations, APIs, and corporate systems. That much is free
Look forward to the bug bounty program launch in 2026
