It’s not just gonna be about the hill - there’s a long way to go afterwards - I think if one manages to get away , a group will catch - if 2 get away I think they might hold any gap

Yeah it is always very possible isn’t it. Not just at the front of course. But all the way down the field anyone who gets dropped going up still has a chance to catch up later if it goes their way.

Well done sir - I think I’ve had a pop at rosedale chimney - has it got something like a disused quarry at the top ?
I went out looking for it but overshot and found it going down so I had to turn round at bottom , go up then turn round again to go home - much to the amusement to the walkers who substituted “hello” for “ bloody idiot “ 😁
 There were lots of walkers out yesterday. Two clapped as I crested the top, as they sat having a sandwich.

Closest I will ever get to having a crowd. ^_^

Anyone watch much of the gcn plus documentary output and would recommend anything? Watched "cat 4 to world tour" pretty entertaining.
The Icelandic and South American ones have great views. Africa Solo is interesting on a few levels - ultra endurance, cultural differences, etc. Full on entertainment: Slow Pro Tour, Checkpoint, 1903.

Hare n Hounds Cat C I had a more satisfying event this morning, in effort and result. Cat C was by far the biggest group, so A/B chasers didnt really stand much of a chance of 14 against 2s and 3s groups. The Ds held onto the last 0.6mile before we caught them. Our group had 3 B cats who tried to make a break after a few miles, but a few strong C's chased them down with me in tow. I held on over Pont du Gard climb and stayed in the pack until the last two bumps before the finish, where the leaders really put me under max effort. I got back on but it really took it out of my sprint. I came 2nd overall to a Big C cat master age group, all Bs tossed out

Pleased with my effort to hang in there and muster some form of sprint :boxing:

Any how here is the video for anyone

Just done the RGV ITT. Target was sub 40', made it in a time of 39'33.0" so happy with that. Only the 3rd (I think) ITT I've done. Totally different experience to any other types of ride! @IrishAl @steverob

Good marker to aim for. I'm going to have a crack hopefully at 1925 (bit random I know). Anyone welcome to join.

Is it the Strava segment we landed on then?
