Guys a little update regarding the Zwiftpower team ownership. I emailed zwift to ask who the original owner was. My intention was just to find out if we could have a little more control before people join really, not to make it more exclusive or anything like that. Anyways long story short… I didn’t ask them to but they’ve made me the zp page owner. And I guess Paul also emailed them asking a similar question, as they’ve made him an admin.

Obviously in reality I’m not the owner of anything here, we all are! But I think it’ll be useful having a little check in who joins, just on the off chance someone joins just to be a nuisance. Hope that doesn’t put anyones nose out of joint basically. I genuinely didn’t ask for it.

As I say Paul’s already an admin too. I’m thinking @steverob being a C team stalwart and also organising the zwift club should be an admin. And I guess other people too (?).

I think it's a good idea to tighten things up a bit. We've got similar with our cycling club 'strava club' at the moment. There's people upset because a bunch of unknowns from all round the world are messing up our 'leader-boards'. Good plan to take back a little control. I was surprised there wasn't any 'moderation' when I joined.

Good news!! I think you should have a cull and get rid of the members who aren't racing or people we don't know!!

Yeah I think because we kind of make decisions as a collective (not that there’s many decisions to make!), It’s all very relaxed. Which is perfect to be fair. But it doesn’t hurt to have a little check point does it.

All jokes aside maybe keep people who aren’t racing at the moment, but kick people we don’t know?

Fwiw I think I can now write a little bio on the page. So maybe I should put a link up to this page, and we might get a few recruits to our own teams and cc league that way. Anyone see a problem with that?

If you want to add me to the list of admins I have no problem with that, but chances are that I wouldn’t do anything with it unless one of you guys told me to do it on your behalf because you were without internet access or something.

I think basically it’s a case off adding new people if you or one of the guys in CCC wants to recruit them. And then likewise for us in splitters. Or alternately one amongst us ‘accepting’ people if and when they pop up on the main chat asking to join the zp group. I think that’s it really…

6 hours later.

I've hired a steam washer, to remove remaining harder to get at bits. Then it's off to have most of the hydraulics overhauled to stop it leaking like a sieve.

Yes. Did a 22 mile gravel ride yesterday. Excellent fun and a change from Zwift/road. Took a KoM over a technical 1.5 mile section as well, which should be much harder to beat than the new road KoM from a couple of weeks ago (which another clubmate has already pinched). In the top 10 times on that segment, one is from 2014, another 2016, so hoping to hold this one for a while, having taken 11s off the CR (and 41s off my PR).

Even I was out at the weekend @CXRAndy and I’m very much a fair weather cyclist!

I did a regular 2.5hr loop of mine which includes a reasonable climb and set PRs on several flat and climbing sections so the fitness seems to be coming good
