Nice. I took my cameras off for yesterday's ton as we were doing lots of hills and I wanted all the help I could get.
In the end we did 2000m of ascent over 104.9 miles. A bit steep for a first ton of the year, but got through it. Today my quads feel like they've been pummelled. I was knackered at about 75 miles, but then somehow got into the zone again about 10 miles later - so much so that I dropped the other three without realising it and had to let them catch up again. Here's the view from the top of Dovers Hill (one of "the hundred" - unaffectionately known as "Bastard Hill").

It's my birthday Tuesday ..... you'd have thought 52 years ago she'd have planned my birth better, and not chosen the first points race of the season with lots of sprint primes up for grabs.

Almost as bad as the indian takeaway that called Rach and me the one evening to see if we were ok as we hadn't ordered any food for a couple of weeks (we'd been on our honeymoon) .... they sent us a free meal to celebrate
