I was looking at Jura's W/kg. They are all pretty good and evenly matched. What is the B cat upper limit W/kg? Can you guys run at that limit for 20 mins? That's what C's are hoping to do, to get a good lead over the hill and hopefully KOM points too

Paul, Tommy and Ketty probably Ok to do that on the KoM but I'm pretty sure the rest of us are at best 3.7 w/kg for 20 mins so will always get dropped by those who can sustain 4.199 w/kg for 20 mins

You lucky bugger ... same as me, dropped like a brick!

Wishful thinking on my part, max I could sustain would be 3.1 maybe 3.2 for 20mins currently.

The front runners will be right on the weight cat limit and riding within themselves by a little margin, which is what we want of the team to be in the lead pack over the top.

Not feeling it today in B cat Crit City. Dropped quite early, struggled to get legs going.

Had a one on one battle with a B back marker. I eventually got away from him when the lead pack lapped us.

I stayed just a bit longer with them giving me a 20yd gap. I then kept up a fair pace for 2 more laps whilst he chased me but couldn't catch up^_^

Decided to test myself today joined a hotchillie hare and hounds event . Went with the group which was going to average 3.1w/kg for 36km . I knew this was beyond me so it was a case of how long I could hang on . Very tough mentally knowing ( thinking) your going to get dropped before you start . Anyway I hung on for 14km at which point I was on my own until 2 other dropped riders caught me and we rode together along with a couple of D Cats we caught and a B Cat who had been dropped by the group as they past us .Managed to match by best 20 min power at 2.7 and 5 min power at 2.9 . So glad I pushed myself to carry on it would have been so easy to quit when I got dropped

I'm trying to ramp up frequency of rides, racing pretty consistently Tuesday Thursday then long ride at weekend. It's working really well although everytime I say that I get injured. Had a really fun race up the volcano climb, A riders in the group so really pushing
