First podium in C cat Hare n Hounds. Got overhauled crossing the line, lost Gold by 5 thousands of a second

Last time I did RGV, I was dying going over the last bumps, this time I was leading quite a bit of the way still near max effort, but not wanting to stop.

So the bikes been off and back on the trainer today . Off for a nice 50km ride just pushing on a bit . Then back on for one last effort before Tuesday ,A 1 lap thrash around tick tock in watopia . Annoyingly missed the first split as the B cats merged from the start and a lot of C Cats grabbed on ,lesson learnt . Anyway my small group 8 to start with slowly got whittled down to 3 as riders dropped off . I burnt all my matches hanging on and had next to nothing for the sprint and rolled in .18th out of 25 but set a new FTP on zwift 202w and managed my highest 20 min power at 2.8wkgs . Hoping I can bring this form on Tuesday

Zwift are promising improvements to the TT and TTT experiences zoon!

That seems to suggest that courses besides TF and Bologna will be able to host events with the conveyor belt and HUD, and that the contrived TTT start procedure may be at an end 🤞

Anyone doing the ToC this year? I know a few of us had our entries moved forward from 2020 but been a bit quiet since then.

I'd like to do it but not sure about house move yet so not completely sure where I will be. But, if I do it I'm very very tempted to do it on the single speed again ... just need to dust it down, check tyres etc and give it a spin on local roads to see how it feels compared to my normal bike.

Used to put wet towel on shoulders and heard people put plastic bottle of ice infront of fan

Never had that issue - must have something to do with putting out 50% less power

It's mostly flat. Was actually fairly easy to be fair and the single speed is nice and light. Only problem is I've not been out on it for a few years so need to check tyres are OK (do they rot if not used?)
