I’m back to Blighty tomorrow early morning. It’s been really nice where we are. In fact even though you got your wires crossed @Del C id highly recommend you having a look at the Vercors region in the future I’d never heard of it before but there’s so many rides here it’s really great.
Riding with Bob, Dean and Lee was great fun as always of course. Considering how little riding Dean has put in he was in really great shape. And now of course him and lee are of to d’huez for another few days riding.
It’s was quite tough with the weather. I think I’ve already mentioned how little long rides I’ve done this year. So riding every day has been challenging as much as anything else. Not in bad trim off the back of it though!
Not sure about the glasses! 😄. I think cyclops probably pulls it off slightly better…
Hopefully I can sustain or improve a bit over the summer now. Try and chisel a bit of time out of my schedule for some longer rides during the week.

) and there was no marshal/official, signs or anything. Rural area, no other roads, we had to backtrack over 10km and then find an alternative route to reach the next checkpoint. The alternative was on a dual carriageway. Two lanes, lorries going past at 56mph - loved it. Got off the dual carriageway, called recovery, we went to the pub. Stake and ale pie with a bit of cider helped
