Yeah you can get some really small ones now. I'm guessing Martin needs one for the upcoming hill climb event to satisfy the CTT rules?
You have to have front and rear lights on all CTT events now. But I bet those hill-climb boys have a single bright LED with a CR2032 cell for minimum weight
Surely a CR2016 is half the weight of a 2032 think of the weight savings 🤣

Not quite that good; 1.9g vs 3.1g but still worthwhile!

I’ve just accidentally won another Cervelo on eBay
The idea is that this can be my fair-weather bike, and my other R3 can perhaps be optimised a bit (maybe made 1x?) and kept pristine for HC racing. eTap is going to be a whole new adventure for me - I’m quite excited! 😛

I find this page on Zwiftinsider one of the most useful for making bike/wheel choices for a race - https://zwiftinsider.com/top-performers/

I like the fact that it's no longer a no-brainer in 90% of races to just go with the Tron!

That said, it's now for me a no-brainer to just go with the SL8 instead but at least I have to think about which wheelset to use depending on the course

I'm worried I'm being ghosted by my eBay vendor - messaged him yesterday morning regarding collection and, although it's only been 32 hours incommunicado, I'd getting nervous (because I think I got such a good deal). With the way that eBay holds funds in escrow until the collection has been verified, I can't work out why anything fraudulent might be going on. Still...

Never used eBay so no practical advice but fingers crossed it ends up being legit

I'm worried he mightn't want to sell because the bids didn't go as high as he reckoned. It's a 2018 Cervelo R3, apparently in great condition, with SRAM Red eTap, hydraulic disc brakes, Hunt 50 wheelset for £1,340. I can understand that, but there's no need to f*ck around when you can easily set a reserve (or put in a first bid from a stooge account).

Tomorrow morning I'll send him an 'are you okay?' message, then 24 hours later if need be I'll open an "Item not Received" case through the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

edit: stand easy, contact has been made!
