I’m back as a fully paid up Zwift member - looks like this autumn is heading to be much wetter than last year so I’m guessing I will get more of my money’s worth on Zwift in the coming weeks. Done a couple of races over the past week - today I was eligible for C cat entry in a 52km HISP race round Titans Grove and over into the Jungle - quite a climby course and it was well attended. Despite being in the C’s all cats started together with 80 riders in total - it was hard to tell who was in the same race. I like the longer races and after being dropped from the lead group on the second big hill I finished well in group 2 and 3rd place in C’s. Enough to catapult my ZRS back to the lower echelons of the B’s. I’m another on here who has lost the top end power outputs lately. Looking forward to more racing this season on Zwift.

Definitely the best ‘bang for buck’ for weight weenies: 130g saving for £15 (claimed weight is 89g but my kitchen scales say 98g)

Any D riders out there that are not scared to actually race for a team?

ATGNI (All the gear and no idea) currently require 2 riders for the TTT tomorrow at 7:30PM
@JLaw was interested but doesn't have a current ZRS, but there must be some out there that fancy a go?

I haven't ridden in a couple of months so expect my fitness to be terrible. Are you needing someone to finish with the pack or just make up the start numbers. If it's the latter, I could be on the start, but could not tell you when I'll blow up, it could be within the first mile!!

We have 4 currently, so having others to pick up the participation points would be fine ...

I raced for the first time on Friday ... 2 laps of das Innsbruckring... Blew up on the small climb before turning into the town,on the first lap so I'm hoping they don't expect Top Ganna level performance! 😱😱😱

You could try on the EMEA DIRT discord?

Hi Alex, hope you're well mate.
I've posted a comment on the DIRT Discord saying I could ride in D. TBH, not really a Discord user so not sure I've actually posted in the correct place, I guess we'll see lol
Not been on Zwift since April, and only one outdoor ride too this summer so fitness will be well down. I could make up the numbers though if only to score the odd point.

It starts tomorrow with a TTT so you won't be sad to miss that one

I expect they'll get you hooked up with a team going forward. I think though that you will need a current category in order to be allowed into the WTRL system. So you'll probably need to do a race before they can slot you in.

Cinelli bar tape (my go-to for 30 years) weighs the best part of 100g! I've just ordered myself a roll of Tesa 51608 tape... My narrow-wide 38T chainring for the 1x conversion is coming later this week... Am I in danger of becoming a weight weenie? The HC bike is down to 6.75kg, I think I'll bottom out at around 6.4kg before things start becoming too expensive or more trouble than they're worth (e.g. AliExpress brake callipers).

Your performances in Hill Climbs warrant you being a weight weenie :okay:

There is another club event (Coventry CC) on the longer course on 4 October, the equivalent of the event Martin and I rode last year. I won't be there, though - I've got Monsal the following day and don't think I've got enough chits from Mrs M to cover it.

Think I'm probably doing this one (well two actually as it also does Edge Hill about an hour later). Planning to do Maxstoke Hill on 28th Sept as well.
