Fell off my MTB yesterday morning while riding at Cannock Chase with my youngest. Lay awake last night wondering/worrying that I might have broken my scaphoid again. Good news is that I can still Zwift fine; bad news is that it might put paid to my ride in the National Hill Climb 😧

Excellent. Well done. I did race 1 in 350-510 and got 8th. I was completely forked after that though so was quite pleased to get to 511 and not be able to continue in the same pen , so no point in continuing at all. In all truth, I only ever intended to do race 1.

Notable that everyone who beat me had a much lower ZRS :laugh:

Are we still allowed to say ZRS is a joke? Or am I banned from that? 😂😂

If it is, it's not a very funny one
(I think they messed up by putting back "decay", or at least messed up how they've done it).

It looks like they've set it up so the "decay" of your ZRS to starts kicking in if you've not done a ZRS ranking race for 30 days, as opposed to you not having done any races (or any activity for that matter). This means you could be very active racing - and doing very well or improving - but still see your ZRS decaying because the races you've been doing aren't ZRS ranked ones (e,g Zwift Racing League or WTRL TTTs). Then you go to join a ZRS race and your score is much lower than it was - or should be - for absolutely no reason other than the races you've been doing weren't ZRS ranking ones. This is dumb!

Unfortunately, so is the other Cat system they're using - for different reasons. Which is frustrating when a really good, fair system like the vELO system on Zwiftracing.app does exist so it's not impossible!

Oh, and it looks like Zwift have done something to disable that ZRS plugin for Zwiftpower so that no longer works

Oh, will try on our pc later and report back, hopefully it's just more races aren't using ZRS.

Recently I've been seeing an "expected" column added to the plugin, not tried to work out the basis of it and whether it agrees with zwiftracingapp predictions.

This pops up on the top right of the Zwiftpower page, and results that previously showed ZRS scores currently no longer do. It does say it's "temporary" so hopefully that's the case

Any more updates? Still looking better for the hill climb?

Yeah, X-rays didn't show any fracture. They're calling me back in to fracture clinic in a fortnight to do follow-up X-rays because some (particularly scaphoid fractures) don't show up on early X-rays. I'm in a splint, but the pain has subsided a lot and I'm pretty sure it's just a sprain. Will be fine for the HC and, importantly, for the ZRL TTT tonight!
