Did long St 5 of TdZ on Tuesday, always aim to be with the front so it's full on. Ended 18th, PB on Tour of Fire & Ice and my second fastest time up the Alpe. Then TTT Thursday and Cycle Nation Corkscrew chase with the Loons (4 wkg for 40 minutes typically). Felt whacked yesterday, but then did 90 minutes of the Dirt Merge Ride today and felt great!
Dirt Merge is a great way to upgrade your bikes - everyone is on the Cadex TT so is fast, but it will count to whatever bike you have selected in your garage.
430 kms this week on Zwift.
Would need a canoe outside at the moment

I’ve done an hour of Robopacer each day this weekend, just taking it easy as I recover from the calf injury I sustained at parkrun last weekend.

Like you, Andy, I’m struggling for motivation because my fitness hasn’t come back yet after my illness through December. I’m pushing 76kg at the moment, have no top-end power and was, if not struggling, working hard to keep up 210W for an hour (which would have been little more than soft-pedalling last summer). I think that the prospect of doing intervals would completely demoralise me! Maybe I need to do an FTP test and then recalibrate my expectations?

Same for me. Been away from racing due to the lung/asthma issues I had that put me on steroids and I could barely do Z1/Z2 for a few weeks. I tried a workout last week that is my 'go-to' and I only manager 50% of the workout at 95% intensity. Legs were like lead. I tried an effort today and again after 30 mins my legs were gone.
I've committed to riding the ZRL Tuesday, which goes up Leigh, But I'm not looking forward to it. I can only do about 2.4 w/kg at the moment which in a C ride will see me spat out the back very quickly!
These colds and infections this winter have been horrible.

I think I would too. It might be a bit longer than I like, but it isn't 17 minutes.
The segment on Leith only starts halfway up. I've never understood why they do that, but the worst one in Zwift is Aqueduc fwd KoM, which starts just before the bridge after you have climbed to the bridge. The actual KoM itself is only about 6m ascent :eek: Silly.

I wish I could say I was lookng forward to Leith hill today :laugh:
Looking forward to racing, but Leith Hill will be a survival exercise. ZR.app adjusted vELO has me at 10th. I will be delighted if I can meet that expectation.

ZR.APP adjusted has me at 5th (nah, not going to happen) and on 20 minute w/kg power i'm 30th (out of 44) - 20-30th feels more likely, assuming I can push some of the lost fitness from not racing the past 3 weeks due to the illness

I'll watch your race later - although it may put me off racing myself tonight if you suffer too much haha
