I have joined the 1% club, not Lee Macks logical quiz show, but the alleged percentage of Zwift participants that have upgraded the Specialized Project 74 Halo Bike, its been an epic with a lot of miles and climbing plus loads of drops used, I upgraded a Venge an Atheos and the SL8 before starting on the 74.

Bit hot for this today. 29 °C in garage at start. 32 by the end and I got through two 750ml bidons, which I've never done in one sub-hour race before

Great course again tonight although heat definitely added to fatigue. We had a number of drops outs including @bridgy unfortunately due to work but starting with only two riders we decided to plough on. Most of the other teams were thin enough on the ground.

I targeted segment points and David my teammate went with a break after the first kom. I "won" the fts for our peloton but the three escapees smashed our time and we're out if sight. David stayed away and we both finished in top 5 and we actually were the 3rd placed team! Super happy with that as top two teams had at least 5 riders each

Only 8 signed up so far vs 20 last time - maybe a self-selecting group.

Will report back tomorrow ^_^

15 turned up in the end. Mywindsock said temp was 30.5C, which sounds about right (started at 18:45).

Pace was high. Nobody obviously suffering in (or complaining about) the heat.

I was actually very pleased with my performance. 8 in our group ( I go in Group 2 these days). Dropped 3 of them by halfway. Dropped another 3 up the final shortish hill with a couple of miles to go - managed to stay on the tail of the fastest guy (one of the club racers). I Refused to come through for a pull ^_^ for a while, then foolishly tried to drop him on the final short bump before the finish. He stayed on my wheel and I had nothing left for the run to the line.

Great fun though - loved it.

That was grim in the heat . Managed 6th on the the 1st Fal climb and 8th on the 1st Fts then just blew and had to sit up for a couple of seconds and the front group where gone . The last climb was just awful, hung on to 2 other riders and we rode to the finish and unfortunately they were too strong and out sprinted me . 22nd on the road 17th with bonus points . Team have managed to hang onto 3rd but it really tight .We are level on league points with 2nd but they have higher points and were just 1 point clear of 4th . 1 more week to go summer zwifting isn't fun

I just couldn't function at all in that heat, well done.
