I bet he is a crusty old bloke who lives alone and picks his belly button fluff and eats it. And anyone who likes him sends him their belly button fluff as gifts.

There's more than one of you?

Take a cushion - it's 2 hours and 43 minutes long!!!

3 hours for film like 'the unbearable lightness of being' is nothing.

for titanic it was bum destruction (my dad made me go with him BTW)

Your father is a bad man.

If I like the film, it's no problem (saw the various parts of the LoTR trilogy a combined total of 12 times with no resulting arse cancer) but a bad film will have me shuffling like an epileptic hamster in a blender after the first five minutes.

You could always pick fluff to send to him....

but yes, I'm actually quite excited about the watchmen film. Saw a trailer, and the actors seem to be complete unknowns.

If you think about it the irony of the actual comic book, it must be the hardest film *ever* to carry off. I guess it's going to be a marmite one.

I still haven't seen 'V for vendetta yet'. Have you seen that chuffy?

I didn't think I meant to come across so in awe of Alan Moore but the remnant shadows of my teenage self demanded I felt a certain reverence.

Bum. I was assuming it would be there, but they aren't listing any showing times in the next month . Does seem to take awhile for it to get there. eg. there are showing times for Casino Royal.

LoTR gave me bum pain I will never forget or forgive. The third one in particular was simply a bad film. It had no subtlety and if I ever, ever see that **** who played Frodo give his 'meaningful' look at the camera again, I will kill large numbers of people in a public place. Tripe. Utter tripe.

However Watchmen looks like the real deal. The fact that Alain Moore has disowned it makes no odds to me - he disowns any film adaption as a matter of course. But it looks great, and they have even made the pirate sections (but separately, and it is will only be on the DVD). I don't even care if it isn't 'faithful' - films and graphic novels are different media. If it works on its own merits it is fine by me.
