@ScotiaLass, you really needn't worry about holding anybody up for the couple of miles along the road into Linlithgow ... as you may have gathered from any of the CC Ecosse threads, we are all quite relaxed about speed and the chat is more important than anything else. [Disclaimer: Occasionally the boys get a bee in their bonnet and try to outdo each other on a wee climb or downhill  - in which case they just wait for the slowcoaches to catch up when they get there ]. I am sure they will be on their best behaviour  if you let them escort you.

Alternatively, I could ride through Linlithgow from the east along the Canal and pick you up at B-road turn-off, if a ladies-only :girl:escort (picking my words carefully here ) would make you happier . We can just play it by ear and see what you want to do nearer the time, if you like!

T

Thank-you.
I'll see how I feel nearer the time...I may even take a ride out that way soon and see where the exit is, and if I think I could join up at that point with the big boys and girls

I hope all is well with the new family!

I will hopefully be there. Not quite worked out where 'there' is though... has a location and time been set yet?

Well I left the specifics open for discussion. But it seams a reasonable consensus has been reached:

Location: The Coffee Neuk, The Cross, Linlithgow (or the other one across the square if this one is too full)

Time: Sat 15th February, 1230 pm

:wahhey: Looking forward to this one already!
Fingers crossed we don't get a big blast of winter :cold::snowball: messing it up ... although the RV is ideal for letting the train take the strain if necessary, just like for the Christmas lunch .

Do we need @Scoosh to do his Mods Magic and edit the title of this thread with the confirmed date?

Looks like it's a bit wild in the West again :rain::cold::whistle:, over here it's 'only :cold: and  so far, but the clouds are gathering now...
We'll definitely have an extra hour of daylight at least by mid-Feb, gaining 0.5 hours every week now :wahhey:.

Took the ice bike this morning, smudge of snow on cars, glittery grass in front garden :cold:
Couple of hours later, the usual deluge. Snow wants to fall, rain wins continually :rain:
