November '71 Black Sabbath supported by Nazareth and Wild Turkey (I think) at the Glasgow Apollo.

Enjoyed Black Sabbath but became a life long fan of Nazareth.
My wife virtually barred me from playing Nazareth, not music to make you feel happy ...but one of my favourite bands anyway.

Motorhead, Ace Up Your Sleeve Tour, Leicester De Montfort Hall 1980

Not sure about this, things were very vague back in the late 60's but I think I saw The Groundhogs and Egg at Minsthorpe School, The Barnsley Oak Pub was the pre concert meeting place.

In the mid fifties, Mrs v R went to see a concert with Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Fell asleep as it was so boring!! To be fair, she was only 9 at the time!!
My, what a waste!

R&B Club Feltham Middlesex. Probably about 1965/6 A Thursday evening. Some local band (I use the term very loosely) twanging and thumping away on stage at some unfeasably high number of decibels.
Naturally we all thought the band were groovy and fab. No Idea about the identity but if I ever find out a law suit will be forthcoming seeking damages for 50 years of tinnitus.

Oh and I nearly got 'duffed up'.
