I am self employed, I do not accept sick notes from myself, as for sick pay forget it.

I just managed to recover from a stomach bug which lasted 10 days, to be hit with flu...I'm over the flu, but think I've a chest infection.

Overall, I've been ill for about 3 weeks now.

My poor bike is getting lonely...

Well @potsy I've got some horrid bug or sommat. I've cancelled my bike rides for a while. Do I need a sick note to present to my bike? No sick pay for me tho'.

That sounds like me but in reverse, horrible flu-type thing in June followed by a chest infection, a few weeks of getting back to health and then hit with this tummy bug.
Feels like I've been ill most of the summer.

I always make my bikes better when they go ill . But when I need some fixing...........

You done well, I have only had the flu twice and each time it lasted months.

I'd have to be a lot sicker than this to want to watch the cricket, but yes if you're wagging off then it counts
