I bet loads of families have found a "mysterious and expensive" mechanical fault with a car driven by an elderly relative, when they want them to stop driving brcause it is no longer safe for them and others.
Seems a fairly sensible way of over coming a difficult situation.

Quite, there would be a murder if someone damaged my best bike, it is irreplaceable.

I`ve got one like that, it`s worth next to naff all to anybody else, but is very sentimental to me because I have so much history with it, and it was my LEJOG bike, it has a lot of stories to tell, so therefore want to keep it forever, even be buried with it

Thanks, it`s almost too good to be true, have had so many sleepless nights over this issue, and all of a sudden every problem has been solved....RESULT!!

I can understand that. Particularly difficult when things are outside our direct result.
