It's occured to me the other day, I'm surprised Dacia have never made a pickup truck.
(Go on, someone prove me wrong... )
In the very early days, when their sole model was based on the Renault 12, l think they did?

Spotted whilst walking dog earlier this afternoon
There’s another one, in this shape, around here (but silver)
Plus ‘M plate’ in white (different shape)

Stubborn git
No, this shape
We had one, for a while, in the late 90s/very early 2000s
(ours was red too)

My bad.

The white car I posted and the red are the same, P80 chassis.

EP81 being the European version and the EP82 posted above was the JDM spec.

Friday 7th

After going to the caravan site, l had to go straight into Wakefield (A1 > ‘HookMoor’ > M1)
On my way home, a Vauxhall car pulled out of the main-dealer, at Wakefield Bridge
It had an illuminated horizontal stripe, & ‘Vauxhall’ was also lit
No idea what model it was?

I don’t recall seeing an illuminated badge on anything but a ‘3-pointed star’ on a M-B tractor-unit

Plus; when did Vauxhall stop using the Griffin? (or was it a Wyvern?)

It's a griffin, and they still use it.

I suspect what you saw was an after-market mod.
