10 speed chain

Hi,


I have a spare 10 speed chain for a double chain set put i have triple chain set on my road bike.


Can any one tell my if it will work ok or should i replace with a compatable chain for a triple.

If it's long enough and the rest of the drivetrain is 10 speed it'll work. Chains aren't specified as being for a double or a triple chainset.
