Noticed you have a roll mat aswell, how did you find that? Does anyone else use them? I've been thinking about the neoair thermarest, but 70 quid is a lot of money (and my shed has roll mats coming out its rear end). Thinking its lightweight but ultimately bulky, but thats a weeks worth of travel I could save!

There are cheaper versions than Thermarest though if you're on a budget.

p.s Loved the video - how much fun can you have on a bike:biggrin:

thanks everyone for the great comments :-D

the roll matt my friend used was a cheap £4.99 laminated foam matt you can get from anywhere, he shortened the length of it with scissors so it fitted the rack. very light, did the job for a couple of months. I used a army surplus self inflating matt i obtained from a carboot, compacted to the size of about 2 tea mugs (lol).

Hey voleurs! That was such a brilliant video - you must have had so much fun!

I've just returned from a solo two-month ride in Australia, but after seeing your video I just want to get back on the road again.

Welcome to the forum, BTW!
