Of course he will become the Prince of Wales, that is what happens to the man in waiting.
And he sang both national anthems word for word, so he is twice the man Corbyn is and 100 times that Redwood fella.

Gritty game, all credit to Wales, they fought it out and scored a great winning try against the run of play and in front of an away crowd. If I was Welsh, I'd be feeling very proud right now.
Why? we played Shiite . 20 mins of good rugby in each half has gone to 20 mins of good rugby at some point . Aus are going to ruin us .

Brave to go for the win, rather than 3 points at the end. Stupid to think that we would let that happen so close to the end.

Great game though.

I thought we'd been beaten and it would just get worse, and even at the end I feared the Saeson would get it back, but they didn't :-)

Good game though, close and well played by both sides

Same here tbh. Quality result, but injuries could be an issue now.

Why? Because, to quote my own post after the Fiji match, you 'ground out a result against proper opposition, and that's what good teams do'. Dammit.

Feels good to be welsh eight now but England threw that away. Lancaster cost them the game, possibly bad captaincy too when we suffered all the injuries, took the foot of the gas and let us back in.

Big pressure on on England next weekend, even more so with Australia not picking up a bonus point against Fiji meaning it's a must win game for them also.

still grinning ear-to-ear, what with lizzie amitstead's win in the world championships as well; that kept me smiling when it looked like england had the game sown up…

Didn't think much of the game to be honest. Quite scrappy and little invention on display, beyond that kick for the Welsh try which was brilliant. Great hands too, that wasn't an easy pickup.

As I said to a mate, England kicking to the corner was at best naive and at worst arrogant. Welsh defence was solid and they were always going to drive for touch.

Sun's out in Newcastle so I'm off to the fan park at Centre for Life, hoping that we can batter Team USA. They've got some big, big players so it's going to be a physical one. If we can get through relatively unscathed and with a bonus point I'll be a happy man.

I agree far too many penalties.
i thought it was worth the risk so wont blame them for going for glory with the penalty, will a draw or a losing bonus point make much difference, lets wait and see. If wales have no fit backs they could ship plenty again fiji and oz?
I shouted "go for the corner" at the telly. But the lineout was poorly executed when it mattered - story of England's game.

However Wales do against Fiji and Oz we better play out of our skins next Saturday. And no side has ever won RWC after losing a pool game iirc.

The one possitive from the game was the almost non existence of the TMO.
The ref played a blinder, very fair to both teams.
Loved the way he reffed the breakdown, and the chat. Shame England infringed far too often when they didn't need to.
