Yes I did , and have lived around the Heathrow area a very long time , but about 2012 things seemed to change , from 6 am landings ,

Doesn't seem to have too much effect on the astonishing average house prices in Richmond, means you'll have a serious wedge if you decide to sell up and move to the country

Richmond Upon Thames, with an overall average price of £770,805 was more expensive than nearby Kingston upon Thames (£504,826), Merton (£581,521) and Wandsworth (£686,117). The priciest area within Richmond Upon Thames was Castelnau (£1,645,947) and the least expensive was Hanworth (£287,724).

During the last year, sold prices in Richmond Upon Thames were 6% up on the previous year and 20% up on 2013 when the average house price was £642,596.

All assuming you own your property of course. Im not sure the same can be said for some parts of Hounslow

I was driving past a golf course once and a golf ball just skimmed past my windscreen.

It would have to be something bad to happen to affect property values in Richmond , a lady I know bought her house here in the mid 70's for around 25g
, 1.4 m if she sold it now !
As for Hounslow , I'd say the airport does not help having to put up with this every 2 .5 mins
