8gb SDHC & Cardreader problem...

For some reason the comp. doesn't see it now !

Any ideas...

You will need a new reader that is sdhd compatible. .. I had to get a new reader

If the phone reads it the card will be ok.
USB adaptor has 'play.com' on it. Some of their stuff adequate , some isn't. I'm guessing in this case...

I got one of these for my 4gb micro sd's

My old reader won't read SD's over 2gb....this new one does.....(the info on Maplin is wrong....the packaging says over 4gb !

It did work untill I removed it from the comp. and now only the bloody fone does, see it !

Is safely removing usb stuff the way to do it which I dont always do .....

Odd that, as I'm having a similar problem with a (full size) Sd card on the thread I started. Won't work on a pc but will in the camera.
Actually found an old 1Gb card last night and its behaving the same way as the 2Gb one, so now wondering if the card reader in the pc has damaged them. After it refused to transfer more than a couple of pictures the card disappeared from the system so I shut system down before removing card as option to safely remove it had disappeared.

I'm now thinking of taking it to ASDA and see if I can just get the prints off it on one of their machines.
