no point yenners. on nine speed there is only a one tooth increment between the top 5 cogs anyway, the only difference on a ten speed is you might get a one tooth increment on the top 6. Hardly worth bothering with...

simple answer, no.

I run both and no actualy difference in speed or climbing ability. The ratio's are so slight in my opinion that it only take's a minute bit of extra work to keep the same speed.

Infact I think the 9spd is faster in the smaller ring
