More exactly - I've always wondered why Shimano or Campag. dont allow individual sprocket choice instead of a block of - 13.14.15.16.17.19.21.23.25 for instance.
Another things that ive noticed is that 10sp and 9sp is very close in price at the moment:
I run both and no actualy difference in speed or climbing ability. The ratio's are so slight in my opinion that it only take's a minute bit of extra work to keep the same speed.
Infact I think the 9spd is faster in the smaller ring
