I went for a lovely, picturesque ride a couple of days ago. Batley, Ossett, Beeston, Rothwell, Stanley... all the run down bits round Wakefield and Leeds.

Its a lovely ride, it is part of an hour loop that i do a few times a week in the afternoons before my son gets home from school. It has a few steep climbs, quiet country lanes and the last few miles is on a flat-ish A road.

I sometimes ride that way, past Gorhambury house, on the way home from work (Hemel Hempstead- Watford).
