As per title these his and hers raleighs laid unloved for years.I have brought them back to life and are great for just tootling about on.Woulnt use them for my daily commute though.

Doesnt flex at all really or not that youd notice.There is a brace between downtube and seat tube.
Regarding the decking stain ro##$*l didnt do what it said on the can.cost alot to stain it and it came off over winter.No powerwashing it just c a ne off.Wont use it again.
I think there may be a mens Raleigh, exactly like that, in my wifes uncles garage, that belonged to her grandfather (& probably untouched for over 15 years)

Looking great! My sister has one very similar to the single-tubed bike - I had a go on it a while ago and was really impressed with how nicely it rode. Must admit I prefer the classic shape of the red frame though, very smart.
