As above, can be a pain if you have a odd size.
Ideally take the valve to any plumbers supplies or even screwfix wickes etc to compare.
Wont cost much, often 5-10 quid.

You can clean them out as they come apart, may be a bit of lime scale...do take note of how it fits " photo" first as it must sit the right way , the disc that is .
It may fix it ?.

There may be a little allen screw located under each lever. If not, the lever might prise off, but if it looks like it's not coming off easily then stop. If you can get to the valve( I reckon it will be 1/2"), then remove it and take it to a plumbers merchant, B&Q or screwfix. Take one of the valves with you and try and match it up, and make sure the lever fits the new valve. You may have to count the number of splines on the spindle cos one with 20 splines wont fit one with 24. Good luck because replacing taps can be a mare.

I have the same tap. With the same problem.

They’re crap :-)

To replace the cartridge, you need to prise out the little red/blue plastic bits on the handle. No matter how careful you are, you won’t be able to do that without damaging them.

Once you get that off, there’s a screw underneath. Remove that, then you can prise the handle off, giving access to the cartridge.

Cleaning the cartridge, and maybe a smear with vaseline, will maybe help in the short term, but you’ll have to replace the cartridge. The generic ones from B&Q come in packs of 2, in several sizes -one size is about a millimetre longer than the original ones. It’ll fit, but the tap handle will sit slightly higher. Not noticeable if you’re changing both cartridges.
