Night Train

if you kill the devil then he must go to hell as he can't go heaven so he would still be able to pop up every now and again and stick his fork in your tyre
If you killed the devil would you go to heaven? Or would you also go to hell for killing?
If you killed God would s/he also go to hell as s/he is already in heaven?

Right.
Picture the scene. The workshop is covered in body parts, I've made a horrible mess of the bandsaw, the lathe and the pillar drill, and then my manager walks in.
'Morning! Anyone else in yet?'
'No. Fancy a doughnut?'

It could possibly be a career-limiting scenario, no?
Maybe not, someone would have to carry on with the work.

I'm curious as to how one would go about killing an immortal, omniscient and omnipotent being.
Again, picture the scene. I'm sneaking up behind God with a samurai sword (I've seen Pulp Fiction recently, just work with me here).
God knows everything, so God know's I'm there and what I'm planning
God is all-powerful, so can stop me in a variety of ways.
Anyhow, God's immortal and so by definition can't be killed.
It's just not going to work. Plus, God is probably aiming to smite me right now for even thinking about this.
If I don't post tomorrow, then fear the worst.

I'm actually quite worried here. I may have to pray before I go to sleep.
Makes a change from the other thing I usually do before I go to sleep I suppose, but I'll probably go to Hell for that too.

Personally, I think I need to lay off that strong cheese. I suppose you would need another God to kill God or the devil, but why is there never one around when you need one?

You can't kill the devil, he's a thoroughly nice bloke:

My wife thinks so too.

As far as God is concerned, I've heard he's a bit up himself - a bit like Bono, just a little less omnipotent.

My wife thinks so too.

I'd be careful, what with his devilish ways and all....

Actually, talking of such things, when that guy dies, I wonder if his funeral procession will be lined with loads of people in Devil costumes

Yep, he must go!
