Four months off the bike meant I'd been waiting to bag a W for quite a while.

I think I'll park this here for now. X and Z are both possible but I'd need to travel.

I have an idea for a new variation. Again using two word names, the aim is to start and finish with A, moving through the alphabet in stepping stone style. To illustrate, if I start with Acton Turville, that could be followed with Temple Guiting, Great Rissington and so on, perhaps ending the sequence with Iron Acton. The idea is to land on each letter once only.

I think it will be possible to navigate the full alphabet, though all I've done so far is identify how some of of the difficult letters can be traversed. The planning's going to be good fun in itself.
